We met up in the Belching Leopard in Tirth. Nilfiz introduced Maria, and Tiddle Findler had a pig on a leash. We returned to the old Malévol house, tossed some coin to Dominguos’ men, and descended back down the well. The merchant creature was there again. We passed it into the larger room and found it crawling with giant centipedes. We slaid the centipedes, but Boris was badly poisoned by their venom, unable to be of any further use. Tiddle fed the pig to the giant crab spider and gained access to its lair, uncrating a box of jewelry and a pristine music box. Tiddle spun up the music box, and when the tune ended, a magical, fiery explosion destroyed everything in the room- the jewelry, the spider, Tiddle, and Avaan.

No time for mourning. We explored north, through the lesser ossuary, into a taxidermy workshop and a tranquil room of floating candles, and east, where Nilfiz vanquished the magical darkness cloaking a room where we found a secret lever that opened a secret door. We were joined by two new companions: Garnos the barbarian, and Bavaan the half-orc (Avaan’s twin brother). Eryndor found a secret door in the candle room, and sent Erika beyond the threshold- where she was consumed by a sentient grey ooze. Eryndor, Maria, and Bavaan slaid the monster and continued through the corridor to find a disused fountain and another chamber holding a large, 9’-long crawling monster. They fled.

Nilfiz and Garnos investigated eastward, finding a fine marble statue of a partially-clothed woman. Beyond that room was a fetid bath, where Nilfiz pulled a sealed clay flask from the stinking water. Garnos looked north into a mould- and fungus-covered room beyond, but retreated to assist the party in transporting the statue up and out of the well. We sold the statue at the Lunar Limb Caravan Company, identified Eryndor’s magic sword, and went carousing all night in Tirth.
